140 km from Barcelona located Figueres city, which is worth to come to visit Salvador Dali Museum. It is not just a museum, but a theater museum. It is housed in an old theater where Salvador Dali exhibited his works even before the building was blown up during the civil war and after that, like this, in ruins, stood for several decades. And later, in 1960, having coordinated this with the city authorities, Dali organized a museum after the restoration of the building.

Those who are used to traveling on their own and sightseeing without a guide and tour groups can rent a car in Spain at a rental office and not depend on anyone. Renting a car in Barcelona will cost an average of 12 euros per day, in Girona from 14 euros per day.

Some of Dali's paintings seem so realistic that, involuntarily watching the visitors of the museum, you can notice something strange: here is a man leaning close to the portrait of the artist's wife and it seems that he is about to grab the depicted woman by the spicy place. By the way, it seems that in the Dali Museum very interesting for children: they rush through the halls with a squeal and strive to touch the exhibits.

In several galleries of the museum, paintings by other masters hang, and there is also a separate museum of jewelry by Salvador Dali. You need to buy a ticket there separately. A couple of blocks from the museum there is a city market - there you can buy something from local delicacies so that the body comes into harmony with the soul saturated with art, and then go back to Barcelona.
